Ireland's finest traditional and original instrumental band pairs up with one of the Emerald Isle’s most influential voices, Karan Casey, to bring you a special show: Christmas from Ireland. Featuring Irish pipes, flute, whistle, fiddle, upright bass and Casey’s signature voice, the night will be filled with Celtic songs of the season. Casey has sold out the Big Room on her own in the past and is the founding singer of the band Solas. For Christmas from Ireland, she will sing both original songs and traditional favorites.
Lunasa includes some of the top musicians in Ireland with Kevin Crawford on flute and whistles, Cillian Vallely on Irish bagpipes, and Sean Smyth on fiddle and whistles. Lunasa's bass player is Trevor Hutchinson, who played with the Waterboys and Sharon Shannon for many years. This is a show for the whole family to get you in the holiday spirit.
