Jackie is quickly making a national name for himself. He won the California Music awards "Best Roots/Blues Album" and his name is being mentioned in the same rarified air as Dylan, Springsteen, Van Morrison, Gram Parsons, Tom Waits and Mississippi John Hurt. Dave Siglin, Executive Director of the Ann Arbor Folk Festival says, "Only two new artists in the past have astounded me more than the acts they opened for. Jackie Greene is one and Nora Jones is the other." He has done national tours with Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Taj Mahal, Richard Thompson, John Hiatt and he's opened for Lyle Lovett. He's wowed audiences at the Newport Folk Festival, The Strawberry Music Festival, The San Francisco Blues Festival, The Doheny Heritage Music Festival (LA) and many many more. Jackie has sold out all his visits to the Big Room including his two night visit last year. Get your tickets early and yes, the dance floor is open.

Restrictions:

This is an all-ages event. Doors open at 6 PM and the music starts at 7:30 PM. An optional full buffet dinner will be served from 6 PM till 7:30 at a cost of $12.50. We recommend you claim your seats prior to purchasing dinner. Seating is general admission. The line for admittance generally starts around 5:30 PM. All ticket sales are final. No refunds please.
