Formed in 2009, Mojo Green has quickly staked its claim as one of the region’s premier funk and soul bands, stretching the genres to evolve its own distinct sound. Frank “Fletch” Fletcher (drums) and Trevor Rice (bass) lay down a foundation of tight, funky grooves; Tim Bain (guitar) mixes in tasty rhythms and blistering lead lines; Kevin Thomas (baritone sax), Trevor Hollingsworth (alto sax) and Monty Adams (trumpet) build a wall of heavy horns; and Jenes Carter stitches it all together with soulful, sexy vocals.
