ABOUT ABOUT

The North Carolina Craft Brewers Guild has partnered with Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. to invite more than 50 breweries to join us at Sierra Nevada’s new brewery in Mills River, NC, for the inaugural Burly Beers and Barleywines Festival. All participating breweries will bring their heartiest brews for you to enjoy. Many of the breweries will be offering their beer for the first time in North Carolina, making this a unique opportunity to taste their brews. We’ll have a bountiful spread of food from our newly opened taproom alongside them.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the North Carolina Craft Brewers Guild. The North Carolina Craft Brewers Guild (NCCBG) is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to advance the interests of craft breweries of North Carolina and to promote North Carolina craft beer. North Carolina boasts the largest number of craft breweries in the American South with more than 100 breweries and brewpubs.

Come raise your goblet to the burly winter ales that warm the soul when the weather chills the bones. We’re toasting the spiced and the barrel-aged, the stouts and the barleywines, and the big-hearted men and women who love them! Cheers!

Some serious talk about your ticket! Sierra Nevada wants you to have fun at the festival, so it’s you who’s responsible for making sure your ticket is not duplicated. Once your ticket is scanned at the festival—voilà!—it becomes invalid and ALL copies will be denied. So, keep your ticket in a safe place and don’t let a party pooper steal it. At the entry gate on festival day, Sierra Nevada is not on the hook for invalid tickets that have already been scanned, nor can we guarantee that tickets purchased through channels other than TicketLeap.com are not duplicates. So let’s all agree to take responsibility for our own tickets and have a sweet time at the event!
