Come celebrate 200 years of Oktoberfest traditions with Sierra Nevada Brewing Co!

In the past, we’ve celebrated the annual hop harvest with our brewery family at an Oktoberfest of our very own. This year, we’re opening the doors to you! Celebrate the first-ever Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest extravaganza in our home-grown Estate-hops field.

WHEN: October 9th, 2010 from 4 pm - 10 pm

TICKETS ARE LIMITED – PURCHASE EARLY TO ENSURE YOU GET ONE!

There are two ticket options:
$30 includes a traditional Oktoberfest meal, commemorative beer stein and 2 drink tickets. (does not include additional beers) *Vegetarian meal available*
$20, includes a commemorative beer stein and 2 drink tickets. (does not include additional beers)
Cash bars will offer a delicious selection of fresh Sierra Nevada brews @ $4 each.

What is there to do?
1. A Celebration of Glass – There will be a mobile glass blowing studio for live onsite demonstrations from local artists.
2. The Ein Stein Design Contest – Many artists have submitted designs for consideration. The top five have been selected and will have an example for you to judge onsite. The winning stein will be produced and sold in the SNBC gift shop. The winner of the Ein Stein Design competition will be announced at 6 pm, make sure to vote for the “Peoples’ Choice” award before then!
3. Music – We are proud to welcome Polkacide, Northern California’s only hardcore polka band, to the brewery! They are based in the San Francisco Bay Area and play authentic Polka music....with a twist!

Beer infused, slow roasted, carved pork

White beans with sliced bratwurst, carrots and leeks

Tickets are only available online, and will not be for sale in the Sierra Nevada Taproom.

How to get to the Sierra Nevada Octoberfest?
1. FREE SHUTTLE - from downtown Chico. The shuttle will run on a continuous loop from 4-11 pm. Pick up and drop off are at the transit center across from Madison Bear Gardens.
2. RIDE YOUR BIKE – there is plentiful bike parking at the brewery!
3. PARKING AT SILVER DOLLAR FAIRGROUND – complimentary parking available at the fairgrounds, a shuttle will run back and forth from the brewery from 4 pm - 11 pm.
Restrictions

Must be 21+ to attend. Photo ID will be checked on site and there are no in and out privileges.
**THERE IS NO PARKING ON-SITE AT SIERRA NEVADA.** There will be a shuttle running from downtown Chico from 4-11pm, pickup and drop off is at the Transit Center across from Madison Bear Gardens. There is also parking available at the Silver Dollar Fairground in the North Lot. There will be a shuttle running in a continuous loop from that location as well.
