It is time to once again dust off those lederhosen and come celebrate 203 years of Oktoberfest tradition with Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.!
Join us for the fourth-annual Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest extravaganza in our home-grown Estate hop field. We’ve lined up two days of fun-filled Oktoberfest revelry. Tickets for each day are sold separately. Musical lineup (featuring Polkacide, Bonerama, and Leftover Salmon), food and beverage are the same both days, so pick whichever day works for you and come see us. Or really get into the spirit and come for both nights! Prosit!

Ticket Options and Pricing:
$47.50 Oktoberfest Ticket - includes admission, a contemporary German buffet dinner provided by the Sierra Nevada Taproom, a commemorative beer stein and 1 drink ticket (additional beer tickets are available for purchase)
$30 Designated Driver Ticket - includes admission, dinner, and a commemorative stein that you can use for water, lemonade or iced tea (your wristband will indicate that no beer is to be served to you)
What is there to do?
1. A Fantastic Musical Line-up –
Polkacide – California’s only hardcore polka band electrifies the crowd with danceable polka favorites amped up, as only they can.
Bonerama – Brass funk rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana with a contagious passion for music.
Leftover Salmon - The sound of Colorado's legendary Leftover Salmon is unmistakable. After 24 years together, they've earned a legion of diehard fans, critical accolades and a reputation as one of the most exciting, engaging concert experiences to ever hit the road.
2. Glass Blowing Demonstrations – There will be a glass blowing studio for live demonstrations from local artists. Enjoy glass blowers creating works of art while you watch!
3. Beer Brewed in the Traditional German Style – There will be six styles of beer available on tap for you to sample from your authentic Bavarian Oktoberfest stein!
4. Oktoberfest Feast - A contemporary German buffet dinner will be provided by the Sierra Nevada Taproom. Dinner will be available from 5-8 pm, and is included with your ticket price. See the FAQ for the full menu.
Oktoberfest tickets will be available online and in the Sierra Nevada Gift Store, starting August, 15 2013 at 10:00 AM.

How to get to the Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest?
PLEASE DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE – Really, we can’t stress this enough… if you overindulge, leave your car and come back for it the next day. Take the free shuttle or a taxi, you’ll make some new friends and keep everyone safe. Here are some options:
1. FREE SHUTTLE - from downtown Chico. The shuttle will run on a continuous loop from 3:30-10 pm. Pick up and drop off are at the transit center across from Madison Bear Garden. This is the ideal option for those seeking post-Fest festivities…
2. RIDE YOUR BIKE – there is plentiful bike parking at the brewery! We don’t advocate drinking and riding your bike though…
3. PARKING AT SILVER DOLLAR FAIRGROUND – complimentary parking available at the Fairgrounds, it’s a short walk to the brewery, or you can take the shuttle that will run back and forth from 3:30 pm - 10 pm. If you need to, you can leave your car overnight at the fairgrounds and pick it up the next day.

Q. One beer ticket comes with admission, but I have a “friend” who may want more than one beer, can I purchase additional tickets?
A. No worries, we’ve got you, I mean “your friend,” covered! Additional beer tickets will be on sale for $4 at the event.
Q. What is the deal with the designated driver tickets?
A. The designated driver ticket costs $30, and comes with all the perks of the regular ticket, except no alcohol will be served to you. You will still get a stein, which you can use for non-alcoholic beverages. Your wristband will identify you as a non-drinker. Additionally, this wristband entitles you to eternal thanks from your friends, and may subject you to periodic public displays of gratitude from the Sierra Nevada Staff.
Q. Will there be a chicken dance contest again?

Q. What should I wear?
A. Traditional dress is encouraged, but not required. Lederhosen and dirndls are highly recommended!
Q. What’s this I hear about a moustache contest?
A. Directly following the Chicken Dance Contest there will be a moustache-off. No, you don’t have to take your moustache off, just come up on stage and show it off! The winner will take home two tickets to the 2014 Oktoberfest!

A. The Sierra Nevada Taproom is catering a contemporary German buffet dinner. Dinner will be available from 5-8 pm, and is included with your ticket price. Look for the menu soon.

A. Sorry, no one under 21 will be admitted; regardless of how far under 21 they are. But congrats on the new addition to the family, may we suggest a parent’s night out?!

A. Please call the brewery at 530-893-3520 and ask for the Oktoberfest team. Someone will be available to assist you from 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday. We’re here to help!

A. We are happy to refund your purchase before September 25, give us a call at 530-893-3520 and the Oktoberfest team can handle it. After September 25, please find a friend to go in your place. You’ve got lots of friends, someone will want your tickets!
Q. Oops! I’ve lost my license, will you let me in without it?
A. We’d like to, but we can’t. Legally we have to make sure everyone inside the event is over 21. Bring your passport, or any other government issued photo ID and you’ll be good to go!
